Win a luxury five-night break to New York

to celebrate the print publication of The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion

Emerald Street is celebrating the print publication of The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion, the hilarious sequel to 2014’s biggest selling debut The Rosie Project, by giving one reader the chance to win an opulent five-night break to New York  for two people.

Love isn’t an exact science – but no-one told Don Tillman. As 39 year old geneticist, Don had never had a second date, and so devised ‘The Wife Project’, a scientific test to find the perfect partner. Enter Rosie – ‘the world’s most incompatible woman’. Rosie threw Don’s safe ordered life into chaos in a story that captured the hearts and imaginations of thousands of people around the globe. We re-join the truly unforgettable pair in The Rosie Effect, who are living together in New York City, where Don is preparing for the biggest challenge of his previously ordered life – while dodging deportation, prosecution and professional disgrace. Is he ready to become the man he always dreamed of being? Or will he revert to his old ways and risk losing Rosie for ever?

One reader will enjoy five nights in pure luxury at the five-star Dream Downtown Hotel, one of New York’s most stylish and luxurious hotels, located in the meatpacking district of Manhattan. You will have the chance to unwind in sophisticatedly decorated rooms, take in exceptional views of the Manhattan skyline and relax in a 50-foot heated glass bottom pool and sand beach – the only one in Manhattan. The prize also includes return flights and transfers, and of course, we’ll make sure that you have plenty of books to read beside that pool with a signed, first-edition hardback of The Rosie Project for you and your friend and a signed copy of The Rosie Effect, plus a hand-picked selection of other titles from the Micheal Joesph portfolio.
