See this sweeping romantic drama ahead of its DVD release

Emerald Street is inviting readers to a private screening of the film adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s classic Victorian novel, Far From The Madding Crowd, at a secret location in central London, ahead of its Blu-ray™ and DVD release on 31 August.

Carey Mulligan stars as a headstrong, independent, Victorian beauty, Bathsheba Everdene, living in the beautiful, rural countryside of Dorset, who attracts three different suitors: a sheep farmer; a dashing soldier; and a prosperous, older bachelor. As the seasons change from the golden glow of summer, to the desolation of bitter winter, twists of fate and fortune appear at every turn, setting the scene for a tale of wild passion and broken hearts.

The screening of Far From The Madding Crowd, will take place on Tuesday 25 August, with doors opening at 6pm in time for drinks, before the film begins at 7pm.
